Rajesh Ramineni, MD, FACP, FACC, FSCAI. is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist at Healing Hearts Clinic in Conroe and The Woodlands, Texas. With multiple years of experience, Dr. Ramineni has developed a passion for performing complex peripheral (leg and arm vessels as well as vessels to kidneys), coronary (heart) and carotid interventions. He specializes in primarily operating through the arm vessels (radial access) for the heart catheterizations. He also performs structural interventions, loop recorder implantations, vein disease evaluation, stenting, and ablations. He strongly believes in a preventive, comprehensive and patient centered approach for cardiovascular management and spends considerable time with each patient for achieving this goal.
Dr. Ramineni earned his medical degree from Guntur Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami campus in West Palm Beach, Florida. He later trained in General Cardiology during which he served as a chief fellow of cardiology in the final year of his fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Dr. Ramineni completed his advanced training in Interventional Cardiology and Advanced heart failure/Transplant cardiology at Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center in the Houston Methodist Hospital. He was an Assistant Professor and an academic faculty at Wayne State University, MI, training young interventional cardiologists in their fellowships before he moved to join the Healing Hearts team. He is elected a Fellow in American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Ramineni is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the areas of Internal medicine, General cardiology, Interventional cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiology. He is also board certified in the fields of Echocardiography, Nuclear cardiology, and Endovascular medicine. He underwent additional extensive training in the field of advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology as well as peripheral and structural interventions. He is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Dr. Ramineni has been extensively published and currently serves as reviewer and associate editor for medical journals.
In his free time, Dr. Ramineni enjoys traveling and hiking with his family, sharing their interest in learning and understanding new cultures. He also loves photography.
