David Tigtig, RN, MSN, FNP-C
David Tigtig, RN, MSN, FNP-C, is an experienced and compassionate board-certified family nurse practitioner at Healing Hearts Clinic in Conroe, The Woodlands, and Huntsville, Texas. David has more than seven years of experience in direct patient care. He enjoys helping cardiac patients with heart conditions, tests like echocardiogram, preoperative evaluation, and much more.
David earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Texas in Arlington. He completed his master’s degree to become a family nurse practitioner at the University of Cincinnati. David is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
As a nurse practitioner at Healing Hearts Clinic, David performs exams, interprets studies, and works closely with a supervising cardiologist to establish and coordinate an effective plan of care for all patients. Heart health is a passion for David, and he loves helping his patients along the road to wellness.
China Watts, ACNP
China Watts is a Board Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC. She has a Bachelors in Psychology from Sam Houston State. She then received her Bachelors of Nursing education from University of Houston-Victoria and her Masters from Texas Women's University.
China has a passion for Stroke Prevention and combating risk factors with new interventions and strategies to promote a healthier lifestyle.
China's focus is to create an environment that enhances the health-care system to meet the community needs.
As a team member she will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with heart disease, hypertension, congenital heart defects, atrial fibrillation, vascular disorders, and other cardiac conditions.
China's mission is to educate our community in producing healthier habits for better outcomes.
Nicole Dorris, NP-C
Nicole Dorris, RN, NP-C, is a board certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner at Healing Hearts Clinic in the Conroe, Woodlands, and Huntsville area. Nicole began her career as a registered nurse in 2006 with her primary acute care experience working with cardiac patients recovering from heart surgery, cardiac/peripheral angioplasty, heart arrhythmias, hypertension, and congestive heart failure. She also has experience working in the cardiac catheterization department, urgent care, and home health. Cardiology has always been a first love for Nicole and she is excited to be able to continue that at Healing Hearts Clinic.
Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2006. She completed her master’s degree in Adult-Geriatric Primary Care in 2021 at the University of Texas Health Science Center and is currently board certified. Nicole is a current member of the Texas Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Nicole has a passion for learning and continues to participate in continuing education with an intent of being a lifelong learner.
Nicole values each patient’s individual needs and works closely with her supervising physician to create a care plan that will help them reach their health goals and improve patient outcomes.
Nicole is originally from Houston and currently lives in the North Houston area with her husband and two sons. She enjoys spending times with her family, watching the Houston Astros, and staying physically active.
