Dr. Banerjee earned his bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University, then completed his medical degree and internal medicine residency at Texas A&M College of Medicine/Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He completed his Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA. He then completed an additional year of training at Ochsner in advanced, complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions, and structural heart procedures, including TAVR. He is considered a leader in the field of peripheral arterial interventions and routinely proctors doctors around the country on leading-edge technologies in the field.

Dr. Banerjee has partnered with exceptional wound care specialists, podiatrists, and primary care physicians in the area to lead a Limb Salvage Program. Codi Leggett, his nurse practitioner, assists in providing high-quality care for Dr. Banerjee's patients in the office and hospital settings.

Dr. Banerjee is a board member of College Park Heart and Vascular Lab. He also served as the Vice Chairman of Cardiology at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialties of Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology.
